Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our sports field renovation services.

How do I know if my field needs renovation or full replacement?

We assess drainage, seam integrity, shock attenuation, infill levels, wear patterns, and subgrade stability. If repairs and selective replacement restore performance and pass safety testing, renovation is chosen; systemic base/foundation failure or end‑of‑life often requires full replacement.

How long does a typical renovation take?

Small repairs or localized recovery can be completed in days to weeks; full-field renovations typically run 4–8 weeks depending on scope, weather, and permitting. We provide a project timeline during the assessment phase.

Can you repair seams and shock pads without replacing the entire turf?

Yes. Manufacturer‑approved seam repair, shock pad patching, and targeted turf replacement are common and cost‑effective when failures are localized and the base is sound.

Will renovation revive safety metrics like Gmax?

Targeted repairs, shock pad replacement, and infill remediation can restore acceptable Gmax values. We test before and after work and recommend full replacement only if safety targets cannot be met via repair.

What maintenance should follow renovation to extend life?

Regular grooming, infill management, seam inspections, drainage checks, and scheduled third‑party testing. We deliver a tailored maintenance plan and can provide O&M services.

Are renovations covered by original manufacturer warranties?

It depends on the warranty terms and whether repairs follow OEM procedures. We document work and coordinate with manufacturers to maximize warranty compliance.
